Serious Injury Claims
If you or a loved one has suffered a complex fracture or are experiencing chronic pain, our specialist lawyers can help
For most people who have experienced a fractured bone, they have inconvenience and pain for a period of time, which gradually resolves. However, for some people, that pain doesn’t go away.
The fracture itself may be complex, the recovery complicated by infection, or sometimes the injury can change how the body understands and communicates pain so that the pain lives on long after the injury itself has resolved.
If you are in this position, you will know how invasive this pain can be. You can find it hard to sleep, concentrate, socialise, work or even enjoy your previous hobbies and interests.
If you require further surgery or treatment, you are entitled to choose to have private treatment. This includes not only surgery, but also physiotherapy and occupational therapy to help you get any aids and equipment that may help reduce the difficulties you are having.
There are a number of options available in treating pain, including specialised clinics where you can go as an inpatient for a week or two to explore treatment options to manage your pain.
If you prefer to do this in your own home, treatment can also take place where it is best for you. Treatment can range from exploring different medications, nerve blocking devices and equipment, to psychological treatment to help train your body how to manage the pain signals being sent.
Our experienced solicitors have been working with chronic pain for over 20 years. They can usually access funds from insurance companies so that you can work with specialist orthopaedic surgeons, therapists and pain management organisations to design a treatment and management programme that fits around your needs.
Our team will also look at obtaining funds to replace lost earnings, giving you the time and space needed to concentrate on the treatment and support you need.
Furthermore, we can make sure that you secure the money you need to replace your lost income and fund your future needs. Members of our team have secured more than £120m in damages for personal injury over the last decade so you can be certain that you’re in safe hands.
If you or a loved one has suffered a complex fracture, and you would like to discuss making a claim, please contact our team on 03333 058375 or email to [email protected] today. We’re here to help you.
