Solicitor, Court of Protection

Rebecca Hamilton

Rebecca is a Solicitor in our Court of Protection team, a role that sees her support vulnerable individuals and their families in managing their financial affairs following a loss of capacity.

Prior to joining Price Slater Gawne, Rebecca spent five years working in the Family Law department of a Greater Manchester based law firm – a position that gave her first-hand experience in providing specialist legal care for vulnerable and at-risk individuals.

Rebecca graduated with an LLB in Law in 2019 and completed a Masters Degree in International Human Rights Law the following year, both of which she studied at Lancaster University. Rebecca then started work as a paralegal and commenced her training contract in 2023, she undertook the Solicitor’s Qualifying Exams whilst working full time and subsequently qualified as a Solicitor in 2025.

Outside of work, Rebecca is passionate supporter of the Alzheimer’s Society and their work supporting those living with dementia, and she has also been involved with fundraising for Cancer Research causes.

She is an animal lover and enjoys reading and exercising in her spare time.
