Lauren qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 at one of the UK’s most prominent national law firms and, from the beginning, has dedicated her career to the field of Clinical Negligence. She possesses more than a decade’s expertise and experience in supporting clients through a broad scope of claims against hospital trusts, GPs and private practitioners – ranging from wrongful births to child and maternal birth injuries and fatalities – including failures in mental health services. She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), having been awarded full accreditation from the association as a Senior Litigator and Clinical Negligence Specialist. As a committed advocate for those affected by medical negligence, Lauren has also been involved in charity and outreach projects, including overseeing the creation of a network for charities and third-sector organisations who support children with additional needs and their families to share resources, best practice, training and other opportunities. She is also passionate about improving patient safety and making sure clinicians are up to date on the latest medical and legal issues, having delivered a number of training sessions to GPs, therapists and hospital clinicians over the years. Outside of work, Lauren values spending time with family and friends, and enjoys travel and exploring the outdoors whenever possible.
