Colin Watret

Colin Watret is a highly experienced Private Client Solicitor and a Partner in our Wealth Protection team. He is based at our office in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.

Colin has more than 20 years’ experience in his field, specialising in all aspects of private client law, including working with clients to navigate Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax effectively to protect their estate for future generations.

He also has extensive hands-on knowledge regarding the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, the administration of taxable and non-taxable estates, and providing personalised advice on the tax implications of establishing lifetime trusts.

Before joining Price Slater Gawne, Colin was a Senior Associate at a prominent regional law firm based in the Midlands and North West.

As an accomplished and respected wealth planning expert, he is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Outside of work, Colin is passionate about fitness, being an avid gym goer and member of two running clubs. He is a proud father to Grace as well as a dog owner, with whom he enjoys walks in the outdoors in his free time.
