Solicitor, Clinical Negligence

Ross Lively

Ross is a Solicitor in our Clinical Negligence Complex Litigation team, where he supports clients across a variety of complex medical negligence cases.

Prior to joining Price Slater Gawne, Ross gained initial experience and commenced his training as a Solicitor at a prominent national law firm. He began his career as a Paralegal focusing on Industrial Disease, representing clients suffering from serious and terminal illnesses as a result of negligent exposure to toxic substances in the workplace.

He subsequently shifted his focus to Clinical Negligence and has experience supporting clients facing a wide range of issues, ranging from high-value brain and spinal injuries to delayed diagnoses, maternity and complex cerebral palsy claims.

During his period as a trainee, Ross also gained experience supporting clients in Human Rights matters, including inquests following deaths in clinical settings.

He holds a First-Class degree in Law from Lancaster University and ranked in the top 20% of candidates in both his SQE1 and SQE2 assessments. Ross qualified as a Solicitor in June 2026, having amassed more than four years’ experience in Paralegal and legal support roles.

Outside of work, Ross undertook a three-month volunteering placement with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) in Maharashtra, India, working alongside local non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to promote awareness of individual rights and support initiatives aimed at improving financial independence among disadvantaged residents of rural communities. He has also been involved with events management for a number of charitable organisations.
