Kind words

“Peter Flory’s service was exceptional. It made a complicated case understandable throughout – particularly through the court hearing process. The expert witness appointments were all well organised and completed efficiently. I was looking for a service that would take care of all the detail and provide clear advice when required. This is exactly what I got and was very grateful for – as well of course a successful outcome!”
Mr R, Surrey

“I underwent what turned out to be a totally unnecessary procedure causing me to have a stroke which has left me with a permanent visual field loss.
Facing a permanent disability was extremely upsetting and I found myself unsure how to proceed. Peter was recommended to me by a medically qualified ex-colleague. – Peter and Angela came to visit me and my husband at our home to discuss the case and to explain the legal procedure.
It has been a stressful time but Peter, with unstinting thoroughness, care and sensitivity guided us through what has been a distressing time. No stone was left unturned including Peter’s choice of the expert witnesses who were all excellent, one in particular whose interpretation of the data was key to the success of this case. The hospital accepted full liability. I am very grateful to Peter for the painstaking way that he conducted my case and in particular his sensitivity, care and understanding. He always kept me up to date with what was happening and was always available to talk by phone.”
Dr D, Surrey

“The service received from Peter Flory at Price Slater Gawne has been outstanding from start to finish. I have been kept up to speed with every bit of progress made. Nothing was too much trouble for Peter. If I had questions he would answer them straight away, and of course the end result was fantastic. Peter won my case for me. Everything was settled and done very quickly. Thank you so much.”
Mrs LAP, Essex

“I was recommended to Peter by my local Osteopath. From the start I knew Peter was very professional and very good at his job and I had confidence in him. Peter is very through and leaves no stone unturned to find out the information needed to gain a good end result. Peter is also a very genuine and caring man which makes it very easy to trust him and his advice. Initially we were offered a sum, which Peter advised me to turn down immediately.  In the end, we were offered a final settlement 5 times higher than the original offer. Words can’t express how thankful I am to Peter and I am over the moon with the end result. This is due to Peter’s expertise and I can’t recommend him high enough.”
Ms GKS, Kent

“Thank you for all you help through this long, very emotional and stressful road and for all your hard work.  Although this settlement is never going to take the pain away from losing Becky, at least we have had an admission from the NHS, that with proper treatment, Becky would not have died when she did. For that information, we are very grateful to you. A least with this settlement we can now pay some bills and take away another stressful part of our lives. One again thanks for all your help and sorry for raising your blood pressure sometimes”

Mr DB & Mrs CB

“Peter came to me a few years back and from the very start I knew I could put my trust in his hands.  From the beginning throughout and until the end,  I have had a clear understanding with every step of the process. Peter has worked very hard and enthusiastically put his wide range of knowledge to succeed in my case.    He has paid a great deal of attention, consideration and also lot of patience. Good communication and guidance has helped along the way too. I’d like to take the time to Thank you Peter for all your hard work and time during this process I very much appreciate the amount of time and courtesy that has helped us achieve the results we truly deserved.”

Ms ZB

“I hope you and your family are well. I just want to thank you for all your hard work and the tremendous support that you gave G and me throughout this claim, and of course the help and support since G’s passing. I want to thank you for getting the result that G agreed last year with you. I am sorry for being emotional on the phone any mention of his name is still very raw let alone this case which was something he was passionate about and unfortunately was unable to see it through to the end.
Thank you for continuing with the case and seeing it through to the end. Thank you again for being so caring and supportive over the last few years G was grateful and would have been more grateful at the end result. You have done him proud and words just could not express my gratitude.

Kind regards

PS. My only regret is that I will miss your communication and care and compassion.”
Mrs SW, Ipswich

“Very professional, very understanding and sympathetic, no stone left unturned, everything explained clearly. Although it wasn’t the result I wanted I felt that I was taken very seriously and that everything that could be done had been done to pursue my case.”

EH, Sussex

“In 2013, and due to medical negligence, I had a catastrophic event and nearly died.

But, I must admit the same hospital’s cardio ward saved my life. My wife worked on this ward, so we knew from the outset what had happened and what was going on.

Six weeks later I was allowed to return home and had an out-patients appointment booked. At this time I had no intentions to pursue the hospital and was just happy to be alive. I returned to the hospital for my out-patient appointment with the surgeon and his team that had nearly killed me and mentioned this to him and he started shouting at me and advised me I should take the matter further if I wished. All I wanted was an apology!!!

Months later I had returned back to work as being self – employed as its challenges, being a taxi driver. One evening I picked up a customer and we started talking about things as you do and it was obviously meant to be as it was Peter. He gave me his card and said to call if I want to pursue the matter.

Well, I was still unsure and left it a couple of months before deciding to call. Peter remembered me and decided to meet. It was the best decision I had ever made. Peter took control of everything from start to finish with his wife Angela too. Peter’s clinical background and knowledge was very impressive. I could ring and ask questions at any time and with their knowledge and expertise knew all the answers. It was a pleasure to work with them and we became friends during this whole process. All I had to do was turn up at any appointment that had been made for me and leave everything to Peter and Angela. But, during this ordeal Peter was always more concerned about my health and my future care and the financial aspect was always second. I did not ring chasing anything as there is no point as this process takes years and I knew that before I started and was advised too. But, if I needed advice Peter and Angela were there for me.

The hospital admitted all liability and offered me £8K. With Peter’s expert assistance and advice I ended up accepting £85K.

I am stable now and will always have medical treatment the rest of my life, but I am still here and with the settlement Peter and Angela have got me, it has given me financial stability. Especially being self-employed it makes all the difference.

I can not thank them both enough.”
Mr TK, Kent

“Peter and Angela came into our lives through difficult circumstances and at a very vulnerable time. Following medical negligence and a misdiagnosis after the birth of my child, I wanted answers and to ensure that lessons had been learnt. Myself and my husband were just coming to terms with having a new baby and after losing complete faith in the health service. I truly feel that meeting Peter and Angela was the first step on our road to recovery. They made every effort to ensure that we were put at ease and understood each phase of the process. They listened to our story with compassion and understanding and their clinical background meant that some of the questions surrounding my care were answered. Whilst we understood from the outset that the claim could be a lengthy process, we were given regular updates and any request for information, guidance or advice were handled in a timely and friendly manner. We are happy with the outcome and are very grateful to Peter and Angela for their help and support through what has been a traumatic and challenging time. Thank you.”
