After studying Law at the University of Central Lancashire, Melanie started work at a Legal Aid firm in 2007 and worked as a Paralegal assisting clients across a broad spectrum of areas before beginning to specialise in Private Client Law.  She  qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and joined us in April 2017.

•    Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
•    Probate
•    Trusts
•    Deputyship/Court of Protection Work

She has particular expertise in dealing with elderly clients and those with mental capacity issues.

Melanie has completed several professional development courses in probate and estate administration. She is a Fully Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly, an organisation of professionals who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

She is a member of STEP qualified (Society of Trusts Estate Practitioners).

Melanie spends her spare time riding her horses and enjoying walks in Anglesey with her partner.
