Angela met her husband Peter in 1987 when they were both training to be nurses. Angela went on and worked as a nurse in the NHS for nearly 30 years at a number of hospitals around the country, specialising in haematology and bone marrow transplant while Peter trained and then became a Clinical Negligence solicitor.
In 2015, Angela took a leap of faith and decided to leave the NHS and concentrate in helping Peter with his work. They work closely together in Kent and although the work can be intense at times they are still talking to each other and manage to keep a sense of humour.
Angela concentrates on the admin side of the work and liaises with clients updating them on progress. Angela assists clients with the legal terminology and helps put them at ease in initial visits when everything is very new and strange.
Angela now works on a part time basis and in her spare time enjoys walking in the Kent countryside, sailing at Chipstead Sailing Club and helping with Wealden Sailability. She also enjoys getting out and about with her girls who most definitely keep her grounded and updated in all things IT!
“I consider the advice and handling of my case to be excellent. I fully understood what was going on, had no illusions about the possible success or otherwise of my case, at each stage. At no time did I feel like a client as my meetings and consultations felt and were handled on a very personal basis by both Peter and Angela, which I really appreciated”.
