Estates and Probate

Estates and Probate

When someone close to you dies, dealing with their estate can be complex and will depend on the assets they held before they died.  In most cases Probate will be required.

This involves completing a tax return and submitting the Will to the Probate Registry.  The Registry will then prove the Will and issue a Grant of Probate which will clearly state who is entitled to deal with the estate.

We can assist our clients by acting on behalf of the person responsible for dealing with the estate (an Executor/Administrator) by taking on the full administration of an estate and dealing with all steps required, from start to finish.  Alternatively, we can assist clients by carrying out only parts of the administration process, as and when they require.

“Throughout the whole process, we were kept informed as to what stage we were at. Very professional with a caring attitude. I will recommend the Practice”

We can help you at all stages of the Probate process. You can send an enquiry to the team here, or alternatively contact the Price Slater Gawne team on 0161 615 5554, by email to privateclient@psg-law.co.uk or via our livechat tab, by clicking ‘Chat Now’.
