Price Slater Gawne solicitors are proud to announce the launch of a ‘Long Service Award’ employee recognition scheme, celebrating the commitment and dedication of the firm’s longest serving employees.
The Long Service Award recognises those employees who have worked at the firm for a period of 5 years and more, at 5 yearly intervals. In this first year of presenting the awards, we were thrilled to recognise 13 employees for their time and service with the firm.
As an employer, Price Slater Gawne are committed to supporting employees in achieving progression and development in their skills and chosen career path, whilst maintaining a strong work / life balance in which flexibility is key. We work with all employees to understand and support what they would like to achieve and how we as an employer can assist them in working towards and achieving those goals.
Regarding receiving long service awards, Laura Zander, Clinical Negligence Solicitor who joined the firm in 2012 commented:
“I have worked at Price Slater Gawne for nearly 9 years now and it is a fantastic place to work. I am looking forward to the future and feel that Price Slater Gawne is the right place to continue to develop my career.”
Jack Fitzsimons joined the firm in 2015 as an Accounts and Administration Apprentice. After completing his apprenticeship, he remained with the firm as an Accounts Assistant and later progressed to Senior Accounts Assistant and is currently in the process of completing his Level 4 AAT qualification to qualify as an Accountant. Regarding receiving the award, Jack commented:
“I’m very pleased to have my time here at Price Slater Gawne recognised. I am very much looking forward to the next 5 years and the opportunities that may arise over that period of time”.
Victoria Price, Director at Price Slater Gawne commented:
“Launching the Long Service Award scheme at Price Slater Gawne provided the opportunity to recognise not only the length of service our employees have provided but also their development both professionally and personally whilst working with the firm. We have seen these employees grow their knowledge, their expertise and their position within the firm, and in many cases progress through stages of qualification and in turn position within the company.
During the last 18 months, the company has undergone significant growth and has enhanced the career structure in place within the firm to recognise the experience and expertise of our team. We look forward to recognising many more employees on reaching key milestones within their role with the firm”.
