Chambers and Partners have published their “Guide to the World’s best lawyers” this week and Price Slater Gawne are very pleased to be included in this prestigious publication.

Since 1990 The Chambers Guides have been ranking the best law firms and lawyers and they cover 185 jurisdictions around the world. They compile their Guide from information each firm provides to them as well as in depth face to face interviews and telephone interviews with clients and with other lawyers.

Highlights from the Price Slater Gawne entry reads:

This recently formed boutique enters the rankings following strong praise for its innovative business model and client service. Specialisations include delayed diagnosis of cancer, cauda equina, orthopaedic negligence, military medicine and psychiatric negligence matters.

We have been described as:

“Really accessible and gets back to you straight away.”

“Very sympathetic and understanding.”

“A small, niche firm that is really committed to its clients and gets a good caseload too.”

Both Chris Gawne and Mark Slater feature as “Notable practitioners”

The Guide says:

Chris Gawne attracts praise from all quarters. One client says: “He was able to expertly convey difficult, unwelcome advice to us, and his tactical nous was spot-on.”

Department head Mark Slater is another popular member of the team, and enters the rankings for the first time. Sources emphasise “his unsparing commitment to his clients.”

Well done to Chris and Mark and all the team for this acheivement and thank you to all of those who have contributed. Watch out for next year’s edition!
