Laura Bywater joined the Price Slater Gawne team in 2019 as Head of Wills, Trusts and Probate.
Laura has specialist expertise in inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning, asset protection, complex wills, the creation and administration of trusts, the administration of estates and post-death deeds of variation.
She acts extensively for individuals and families of high net worth, as well as families who are concerned about long-term care fees.
Laura is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP); a professional body focused on assisting people with their future planning requirements. She also lectures frequently to groups of professionals on a wide range of private wealth matters.
Outside of work, Laura loves to travel. She spends her holidays visiting new countries and experiencing different cultures with her family.

|If you could change anything about your area of work, what would it be?||I would delete the unnecessarily complex residence nil rate band legislation and introduce a much simpler, increased nil rate band amount|
|What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?||I am from Wales (but with no Welsh accent whatsoever!)|
