Jade Price

Jade is involved in all aspects of Court of Protection work, particularly Deputyship applications and the day-to-day management of client financial affairs. She acts as professional deputy for clients who have received multi-million-pound damages awards, either as a result of Clinical Negligence or Serious Injury.

She works closely with both our Serious Injury and Clinical Negligence teams managing interim payments until claims are settled, and post-settlement assists clients invest their compensation in the most suitable way, and puts in place commercial care packages, as well as other financial matters. She works with senior members of the team establishing mental capacity and often assists Lay Deputies with applications to Court, and Statutory Wills. 

Jade also regular delivers training modules to third parties such as Local Authorities on vital topics including ensuring they can effectively, and appropriately, support vulnerable people, and implement successful financial safeguarding measures.
